Hawks Must Wake Up
Back-dooring
there way into losing another game is a common theme for the Seattle
Seahawks. Last Sunday against the 49ers the Hawks played
there common prevent defense, and offense in the fourth quarter.
Matt common theme Hasselback forcing balls into double -coverage
(which was picked for int.) Theme Coach Mike Holmgren calling
conservative plays in the fourth quarter which he, and the offense
settles for three points late in the fourth quarter instead of trying
to get seven points (Playing for the tie).
Hawks
defense being scorched by a no-name 49ers quarterback J.T. O'
Sullivan (20/32-321yds -1td). O'Sullivan, and 49ers wide-out
Issac Bruce (4 rec. 153yds.) Bruce made, and took new names
of the Hawks secondary! (Josh Wilson, Kelly Jennings)
Hawks defense did have (eight sacks), which at times seemed to slow
down the 49ers offensive attack. But even if you have a full cart
of groceries (eight sacks) may not be enough from your local helper
clerk. Injuries are part of the game, and Matt Hasselback needs
to quit crying, and start making plays throughout the game with
the players he has. This Sunday's game with the Rams is a must win.
If
the Hawks want to go to the playoffs they must win this game. The
Rams, Mark Bulger, Stephen Jackson, and Tory
Holt won't go down easy. The Arizona Cardinals are 2-0
and very healthy on offense with quarterback Kurt Warner
(last Sunday 361yds, 3tds.) Arizona wide-outs (Boldin, and
Fitzgerald combined last Sunday for 12 rec. 293yds. 3tds.)
Injuries may not be the problem with the Seattle Seahawks, the problem
might be the non-execution with Matt Hasselback, and Coach Mike
Holmgren in the fourth quarter. Remember last year losses against
the Cardinals, Browns, Saints, Panthers, and Falcons ???
P.S.
Koren Robinson, and Colbert should help plug some
holes in the wide-out position for the Hawks.
