Hawks
Moving on in 2011
A new era begins without Matt Hasselback
With
Matt Hasselberry gone to the Titans and now former Vikings
Quarterback Tavaris Jackson in, the Seattle Seahawks began
moving forward into a new direction. A new direction by also adding
Vikings wideout Sidney Rice, and Offensive lineman Robert
Gallery from the Raiders. Hasselberry, the last three years
with the Hawks, has been less than stellar. A lot of picks, injuries,
fumbles, and more check downs for 3 yard gains on 3 and 10 than
anyone else in NFL history. Don't get me wrong. New Hawks Quarterbacks
Tarvaris Jackson and Charlie Whitehurst will have their moments
of struggle. The Seahawks organization had to move on without Matt
Hassellberry. Whitehurst or Jackson in 2011 will try and manage
the Hawks offense early out the gate until they get a longer leash
to stretch the field more often with big plays.
