Hawks
Lay an Egg Against A Banged-Up Steelers Team
It
was a very sad day for the Hawks in the Steel City. Not only did
Seattle get shutout 21-0, but they played like they had other things
on their mind. Seattle could not run ball with only 38 total rushing
yards compared too the Steelers 163. Seatlle's offense could not
get any kind consistency at all in the entire game. Hasselback was
forcing throws throughout the game even when he did have time.
The
Hawks offense was rarely seen in the second half due to the Steelers
taking large chunks of time off the clock. To start the third quarter
the Steelers went on a 17 play touchdown drive that ate-up 10 minutes
and thirty seconds. The Steelers won the time of possesion for the
game with having the ball for over 40 minutes compared too the Hawks
19 minutes. If the Hawks want to be a playoff team, they must do
a better job of running the football. If Alexander has only 25 yards
on 11 carries like he did against the Burg, Seattle is going too
lose most of the time.
Playoffs
teams play like playoffs teams! Teams that don't make the playoffs,
can't run the ball, can't throw the ball, cannot put pressure on
the quarterback, can't tackle, can't score touchdowns in redzone,
instead kick field goals, or turn it over in the redzone when they
have a chance to score. Wake Up Seattle Seahawks! The {Aints} Saints
are coming to town.
